ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS IN YEPPPOON & EMU PARK

Total Health Medical is currently accepting new patients at both our Yeppoon and Emu Park clinics.

Our GPs provide comprehensive general practice care for individuals and families across the Capricorn Coast, with a focus on continuity of care and clear communication.

Whether you require a routine check-up, ongoing care, or support with a specific health concern, our team is here to assist.

New patients can book standard GP appointments, long consultations, and ongoing care at either location.

YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

During your first appointment, your GP will take time to understand your medical history, current concerns, and ongoing health needs.

Your doctor may:

  • Review your medical and family history
  • Discuss current symptoms or health goals
  • Provide prescriptions or referrals
  • Arrange investigations, referrals, or follow-up care

If you have multiple concerns, we recommend booking a longer appointment. If you need care beyond a standard consultation, you can explore our General Practice GP services before booking.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR FIRST VISIT

Please bring the following to your appointment:

  • Medicare card
  • Photo identification
  • Concession card (if applicable)
  • A list of current medications
  • Any recent test results or specialist letters

Arriving 5–10 minutes early helps ensure your appointment runs on time.

FEES AND BILLING

Total Health Medical operates as a mixed billing clinic.

Fees vary depending on consultation length and clinical complexity.

Bulk billing availability depends on eligibility and appointment type. Private fees may apply for many consultations, and our reception team can provide current fee information when booking.
